Data and Privacy – Your Personal Data:
What we need
Mr John Bridges, Secretary of Dover Clay Pigeon Club will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide for membership of Dover Clay Pigeon Club.
We only collect the minimum personal data about you in order to be a member of Dover Clay Pigeon Club.
This does however include name, address, phone number, email address, section one and section two certificate numbers, as required to enable the Club to function.
Any payment debit/credit card or bank transfer detail provided are not stored on any computers and once the sales transaction is completed the details are destroyed.
CCTV is recorded due to security demands and warning signs are displayed.
Why I need it
For providing the service available by the Club.
The Club will not collect any personal data from you that they do not need in order to provide and oversee these services to you.
What I do with it
All the personal data Dover Clay Pigeon will process is kept secure and private. And will only be shared between members with members prior consent.
No parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
(e.g a firearms enquiry officer Kent Police carrying out their duty’s under UK law subject to the firearms act)
No information is kept for marketing, personal information are only kept to enable the Club to function.
How long Dover Clay Pigeon Club keep it
On going for members, one year for ex-members after their membership expires.
CCTV is kept on a constant recording recycled after one month approx.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted.
If you wish to raise a complaint on how I have handled your personal data you can contact Mr John Bridges, Club Secretary.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to Mr John Bridges at any time or call to arrange a time to visit in person to discuss any worries you may have.
